We at HoG love video games and we want to share our collection with you, and give you a real insight into what gaming was really about, whether you're a veteran gamer, casual gamer or haven't played video games since your childhood, we have something for everyone. From the very early PONG Home Systems, to the latest in VR technology. We have a full range of consoles that we can bring to your school or workplace.

IS HISTORY OF GAMING FOR ME?

Our History of Gaming package is great for awaydays, team building events, birthday parties or as an educational tool to give the kids of today a real insight into where all their favourite video game characters evolved from. You can get a real flavour for how gaming has developed over the years. Let's face it, the Commodore Vic 20 only had 5K of RAM in which to load its highly addictive games, which kept us occupied for hours! With the modern PCs today, they typically have 8GB RAM, over 1600 times more! but are the games any better? We will let you decide.

SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

We will come to your establishment and set up all the equipment (alternatively we can offer this experience at our fantastic CoRE offices). All we need is a decent sized room with a few power sockets, and we provide the rest. We will give everyone a guided tour of all the games and even allow the children (and adults!) the opportunity to play on all of the systems being demonstrated.

Is it Just for Kids?

Most certainly not! In fact, most of the time adults are the ones who enjoy it most! It has a real nostalgic effect for people of all ages. HoG IN THE CURRICULUM

As well as a rewards day, we are now working on being able to offer History of Gaming as a curriculum enhancing tool! It will be used alongside the "Evolution of Gaming" module and will really enhance the learning experience with a great hands-on day of gaming and learning.
